Angler Action Data Program
the form below is in Beta Testing till mid-March - we appreciate your feedback.
Your Information Counts! [p]The time has come for recreational anglers to be part of the solution when it comes to conserving our valuable fisheries and habitat. The Snook Foundation’s Angler Action Program collects information about directed snook fishing trips. The records entered on this page flows into a database that the Snook Foundation will use to augment fisheries-dependent data collected by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and other coastal fisheries biologists. [p]
Some tips to help us ensure our data is both valid and useful:
[p] * Please enter directed snook fishing trips whether you caught snook or not. If you did not catch snook, skip the fish lengths section, but please enter "0" in the caught/kept/released categories and fill out any other applicable information. [p] * If multiple anglers fished on this trip, please designate one angler (or guide) to enter the trip information to avoid duplication. [p] * Please enter data during or as soon after a trip as possible. Print one of our handy "boat forms" to keep track until you get back to your computer, or bookmark our smartphone-friendly version of this page here. [p] * If you have questions about a particular data field, click the blue ? for more information.
